The Titans defeated the Biola Eagles 12-7 Sunday afternoon to claim their 2nd straight SLC Division 2 Championship. Heading into the SLC tournament with a perfect 7-0 record, the team continued their dominance on the field with a 13-8 victory over Concordia University on Saturday afternoon.
After trading scoring runs throughout the game, the Titans were able to gut their way to victory, led by the remarkable defense played by the whole team. Coach Morrison got a nice gatorade bath at the end before the Titans rushed the field at the final horn to congratulate freshman goalie Justin Kappeler.
Cal State Fullerton will continue to pursue their 8 game Division 2 winning streak against #4 seed Grand Valley State in Denver, Colorado at the MCLA National Championships. That game will be played at Dick's Sporting Goods Park at 10am on Tuesday, May 11.

Titans 21 Tigers 5

The Titans defeated the Occidental Tigers tonight to capture their first ever perfect record in conference, finishing 7-0. The Titans started off sloppy in the 1st quarter, but managed to get the act together and rattle off 9 goals in the first. The offense was lead by captain Michael Ansel who recorded 10 goals and 3 assists.
Cal State Fullerton will again be the #1 seed heading into next week's SLC Tournament. The next opponent has yet to be determined, with a probable 3-way tie for 2nd place when all is said and done.

UCI Game Rescheduled
Saturday's UCI away game has been moved to Tuesday, April 20th at 7pm. The game will still be held at UCI.

Marymount Game Cancelled
Unfortunately, tomorrow's 4/13 game vs. Marymount College has been cancelled due to weather. The Titans next game will be @ UC Irvine at 7pm Saturday, April 17.

Titans Trump Biola 13-7

The Titans defeated the Biola Eagles last night for their first victory in this heated rivalry. Cal State Fullerton advances to 7-3 with a 4-0 conference record, setting them up in a prime position for the #1 seed in the SLC tournament in May. Ozhan Kashkooli, the most dominate player in this game held the Eagles to 7 goals allowed while making 23 saves.
